Elizabeth Taylor will always be one of the most famous women when it comes to diamonds. Her love of the stone and its dazzling attributes makes her collection of flawless diamonds one of the most admired in the world. Being that Ms. Liz’s birthday just passed, we have to take a moment out to appreciate the beauty that she is and of course the diamonds she possesses.
From a stunning tear drop necklace that she wore with her famed blue dress, to her engagement ring from Richard Burton, she has lead the way when it comes to living large when it comes to jewelry. The most famous diamond of hers is, of course the 69-carat pear shaped diamond ring she got from Burton for her fortieth birthday. Taking up a good half if not more of her ring finger while still wearing her huge cushion cut engagement ring on her right hand, is something that we still marvel at.
