Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli have called it quits after 11 years. The official word:
“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”
The couple have three daughters and I have to say, if the cheating scandal is true, Facinelli’s behevior is even more upsetting. Rumors have been hitting the web all over the place that the Twilight actor has been seeing another woman, a Canadian girl apparantly that is in her early 20′s. Cheating is always bad, no doubt about it it, its the weak way out, but what kills me is when a husband has daughters, let alone three! It always reminds me of this really old tweet from singer Shanelle Gabriel:
These words are so true, Garth and Facinelli both spoke out on the cheating rumors:
“There are rumors out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family. We just want to make it very clear – there are no third parties involved.”
Well its not like they would openly admit it, at least not this soon right? I’m waiting for that ball to drop, I hope it doesn’t but…I kind of think it will. Cheating rumors have been plaguing this couple for over two years.
Garth also recently spoke out about how she came to her decision on her CMT reality show:
“Being out here on my own with the girls is not going to be easy, but I know it’s the right thing for us right now. I feel it in my heart. I’m excited about what’s next.”
From Us Weekly:
“In an earlier clip, Garth and two of her girls tend to a mother cow and her calf on their farm — with Garth pointing out the touching maternal bond.
‘See how close the baby sticks to his mommy, she says. ‘That’s all a baby needs, his momma. Just the two of them. That makes a family.’ “
Really Jennie? You are going to tell your kids that they don’t need their father? Just you? Really? Gross. Out of all this, that quote is the most disturbing.
