Jessica Simpson Still Looking for True Love
Someone please put a diamond on Jessica Simpson’s finger. The reality star who just finished taping her new VH1 series, The Price of Beauty, recently told an audience at IHeartRadio that she was still on the lookout for true love. “ I hope I don’t die alone, that’s for damn sure.” Simpson confided that she was looking for a guy “that understands my life and understands my purpose. I just need to find the right man.”
Simpson’s last husband, 98 degrees band member Nick Lachey, definitely gave Simpson something to remember: a four carat pear shaped diamond highlighted by two side stones, set in platinum. He proposed to her on a yacht in Hawaii. Since then, Simpson has been associated with singer John Mayer and football player Tony Romo. Even her friendship with Smashing Pumpkins star Billy Corgan has spurred rumors.
A public dating life can be tricky, and you can’t spend all your time waiting for engagement rings, Simpson says. In her upcoming reality show, she’s determined to explore how fame influences people’s perception of her and whats he does. “I’d love to go out to dinner with certain people I’ve met but I can’t cause everyone would be like ‘Wow! They’re gonna get married!’”
