Katy Perry burst into the scene with her hit “ I Kissed A Girl” a couple of years ago. She has been linked to many stars including lead singer of Gym Class Heroes Travis McCoy. But none have been able to hold this stars’ interest long enough…until recently. She is now on her way to the alter with Russell Brand. We got a great glimpse at her ring recently, why don’t we break down some of the key elements?
The ring first off does not look very traditional. It is neither princess cut nor vintage looking. It is yellow gold which is something different in itself. Most celebrities have moved on from the yellow gold look and opt more for white gold or platinum. It is three carats which tells us that Brand definitely took the time to look up some stats. The diamond itself from what we can tell is square and uniquely shaped. It does not really stand from the setting. The band is thicker than we have been seeing lately. Brand bought the ring from Cartier.
