You would think that would be tough but Carpenter seems pretty okay with it all, she recently spoke to E! News and shares her take on it all: “Has it changed anything? Yes [But] he is and always will be one of my best friends in the world. And just because the marriage ended doesn’t mean the love isn’t still there. We take very good care of each other and our cast, we always have, and I’m just really lucky.”
I give them credit I am fairy certain I would not be okay working with my ex husband every day, especially given the fact that they are brother and sister on the show. Another thing is that the two have not shared as to why they decided to call it quits, but the word on the street is that Hall cheated on Carpenter with Julia Stiles who was a on the show for a season.
Stiles has said she has nothing to do with it…but the rumors are pretty persistent. If this really is the case then that has to really suck and Carpenter is straight up lying. You are never going to be okay with the man you married cheating on you and then you having to work with him. It is just unrealistic. But hey, maybe he didn’t cheat…I kind of hope he didn’t since I love Hall. He is an amazing actor and was a main character on one of my favorite shows of all time: 6 Feet Under.
Regardless, good luck to them both and I hope they truly stay friends.
