Nicole Richie and Joel Madden had children before deciding to get engaged. So it may be no surprise that the couple has had somewhat delayed wedding plans. On this week’s Ellen Degeneres Show, the star revealed she hadn’t really put much thought into her wedding plans. “I’ve been on the road. I just got home, and so it’s really going to be now that’s the time for me to sit down and think about what I want.” Richie told Degeneres.
Richie also revealed that the couple hadn’t yet set a date. Both Richie and Madden confirmed their engagement in Februrary as Richie explained she had to become a mom before she knew she was a wife.
And ever since February Richie has been spotted out and about with a four-carat Neil Lane engagement rings that surely knocks the socks off whoever sees it. Any white gold diamond pave engagement rings would be a close style replica for Richie’s ring.
The couple were spotted at Sunday’s Oscars and we can only expect many more public appearances to come as details unfold about the wedding.
