Patti Stanger, or as most of us know her, The Millionaire Matchmaker (from the hit Bravo TV show) has called off her engagement. Stanger’s career is to bring two people together who she deems compatible and have them…well, fall in love. She sometimes did well as her show documents, but alas, when it went bad…it went very bad.
Late last year her boyfriend of six years Andy Friedman proposed. He surprised her on her birthday with a four carat heart shaped diamond engagement ring. They seemed happy together and she was fiercely private when asked about her relationship. Stanger, on more than one occasion was asked about her love life and has abruptly changed the conversation, expressing that her private life was not part of the TV show. She let down her guard once, only to share that she was in fact excited to marry.
The reality star broke the news through (of course) her Twitter account. She tweeted: “I just ended my relationship with Andy,” adding: “It hit me really hard that I want kids in my life. You have to agree on the non-negotiables.”
