Matt Cawley is in love with Stacey Scanlon, so much so that he decided he was more than ready to marry this woman. All he needed to do was pop the question and he was certainly prepared. Matt was about to propose with a $9,000 engagement ring, a family heirloom. Yet, all did not go as planned, to say the least. Matt had tied the ring to a fake sand-dollar with some fishing line and hid the ring under it.
Unfortunately, Stacey picked up the sand dollar and by freak accident, the ring dropped. Did I forget to mention the proposal was taking place at a jetty? The ring fell all the way through… the rocks. They heard it falling and frantically try to find it, to no avail. It was gone.
