A hot new Disney couple has just hit the scene, which already has Twitter-happy Disney fans talking.  Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato, dubbed by fans as “Jemi”, have just now confirmed they were dating each other.  The duo starred in the hit Disney film, Camp Rock.  Twitter fans were gushing this week about how the new Disney Couple would be received, one tweeting “Jemi will be the new Zanessa.  I’m just sayin’”.  This Tweeter was referring to all-star Disney High School Musical couple, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.

While Hudgens and Efron have been together for a couple years, “Jemi” have been only been item just recently.  Engagement rumors have swirled around Hudgens and Efron, even with a false report by the News of the World last  year saying the couple had purchased engagement rings and were eyeing tropical locales for a possible Fall wedding.

But while Hudgens and Efron have faced their share of mini-scandals, including a set of leaked nude photos of Hudgens, Lovato and Jonas may be a more demure couple…maybe.  While Jonas wears a purity ring, which symbolizes abstinence until marriage, there have been rumors alluding to Lovato and her secret, very un-Disney-like party girl behavior.  We’ll see if this lasts long!
