Mario Lopez Hoping for a Bigger Baby

Former “Saved by the Bell” star Mario Lopez is feeding his girlfriend and mom-to-be a whole assortment of fatty foods with the hope that she’ll produce a “chubby baby”. He can’t say enough good things about his pregnant girlfriend, Courtney Mazza. “She looks beautiful pregnant and I just pamper her. I’m constantly trying to feed her because I want to have a really healthy, chubby baby.”

The couple are happily engaged with Mario proposing with a gorgeous engagement ring. Meanwhile Lopez is keeping extremely busy with his gig as an Extra TV host and a possible reality TV series. “It’s not 100 percent confirmed, but it is looking pretty good.” He says. “It follows me juggling through everything and wanting to learn. There’s so much out there for women but not so much for men, and I want to be a very hands-on dad. I think having a humorous but informative way to tell that story would be great for a show.” And not only is this entrepreneur working on the reality show, but he is also prepping his own book on fatherhood! Lopez describes it as a book “women could get for their guys to be prepared for fatherhood.”

Mariah’s Possible Baby Names

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are among Hollywood’s most fabulous and happy couples. The pair refuse to have a boring time as a married couple, enjoying special celebrations such as marriage vow renewal celebrations. The latest celebration featured Cannon offering Mariah a ring pop encrusted with diamonds.

And now there are reports that the couple might be expecting a baby as Carey recently dropped out of the latest Tyler Perry project. “I’m pretty sure that when my wife is ready to make any announcement, it won’t be to the media, to the public first.” Cannon has said. “She’ll tell her family, she’ll tell her friends, and then, you know, when she’s ready to share with the rest of the world, who is her extended family and friends, then she’ll let everybody know. So, when she tells me something, I’ll tell y’all, probably after I tell my mama.”

And when she is ready to announce a pregnancy, Cannon jokes that the couple already have names selected. “We’re gonna name all our kids Mariah no matter if they’re boys or girls. Mariah no. 1, Boy Mariah, Man Mariah, Tall Mariah. It’s gonna be a house full of people named Mariah.”

Cannon has been quite vocal about the couple’s desire to have children since 2009. “It’s probably a question I get asked more than anything: When are we having children?” Cannon says, “You know, you got to leave all that stuff to God. That’s in God’s hands. So, when it happens, it happens, and we’ll be happy.”

John Travolta and Kelly Preston Having Another Baby

John Travolta and Kelly Preston finally have some good news coming their way. The pair announced this week via their websites that they’re expecting another baby. “It is impossible to keep a secret…” Their press release read, “Especially one as wonderful as this. We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family.”

Travolta and Preston have had a strong and committed marriage for years. The pair met while filming The Experts in 1987 in Toronto. Apparently they were both attracted to each other, but were both in committed relationships. Of their first encounters, Travolta said, “When we first met, she seemed very happily married, and I thought, ‘God, I’d love to be married to someone who is happy.’ Then throughout the shoot I discovered she was having trouble with that particular relationship, and I helped her. She really listened to what I said and took a lot of my advice, and that made me feel better. You couldn’t deny we were attracted to each other, but also we both felt it would be wrong to take part in anything when she was still married.” After spending a few years together, the pair made several elaborate wedding plans. Eventually the wedding plans became too much to deal with and the pair decided to elope in Paris. The pair exchanged wedding rings in 1991 in a midnight ceremony at the Hotel De Crillon.

Kelly and John saw tragedy with the death of their son last year.  They have since bounced back with their baby announcement and have affirmed their commitment to their family.  “Having kids gives you a mandate to make your marriage work.”  Travolta says, “Kelly and I strive really hard at it, and the kids are a big motivating factor.  We make them more important than us, so its like we have a purpose to make the marriage work in order to make them happy.  It seems to work so far.”

Chris O’Donnell Committed to the Family Life

Chris O’Donnell was poised to become a major superstar in the mid-nineties with his casting as Robin in a Batman movie.  Only 25, and with several agents ready to offer him a successful movie career, the actor decided that getting married and having a family were more important to him.  “I was being offered these huge films that would have taken my career to a different level, and I decided to put on the brakes. I knew if I continued on that track, I probably wouldn’t have gotten married.”

Now the father of five happy children, the NCIS: Los Angeles star has a daunting workday ahead of him, with his youngest baby waking him up around 6:30 am. And despite his grueling schedule, O’Donnell has been crowned Redbook’s Hot Husband of 2010.   Speaking of his marriage and it’s relationship to fame and Hollywood, O’Donnell seems to firmly believe that getting married, exchanging wedding rings and living a stable family life.  “I knew when I got into this business I couldn’t have it both ways:  I could live a playboy lifestyle, which is not a bad thing to do, or have a traditional family life, which is how I grew up.  That was more important to me…when I’m sitting in the backyard at the end of the day with a glass of wine, watching the kids having fun and clowning around, for me, that’s what it’s all about.”

Matt Damon and Wife Prepping for New Baby

Matt Damon and his wife were at the Save the Children’s Celebration of Hope Benefit this weekend in Greenwich, Connecticut, and they both definitely had children on their mind. The happily married couple already have two children together–Gia, 21 months old, and Isabella, 3. Damon’s wife, Luciana, also has an eleven year-old daughter from a previous marriage. Now the pair have another one on the way soon. “We’re bracing ourselves for our next little tornado.” Damon said at the fundraiser, then adding, “We’re excited, but it is a lot of work.”

Both Luciana and Damon married in a surprise wedding. They met while Damon was filming Stuck on You in Miami and she was working as a bartender. The pair married informally at New York City Hall in 2005. Damon definitely sifted through several engagement rings to find the right one. He eventually settled on a classic and elegant platinum ring from jeweler Steve Goldfarb. The two subsequently began to build a family, with Damon initially saying, “I’d love to be a dad. I hope I’d be great at it. That’s every man’s fear, yet his most important job.”

Claudia Schiffer Welcomes a Baby Boy

A mainstay supermodel all throughout the nineties, Claudia Schiffer is now focusing her efforts on motherhood now…for the most part.  Schiffer welcomed her third child into the world on Friday at a hospital in London.  Schiffer and husband, Matthew Vaughan already have two other children–Caspar, 7, and Clementine, 5.    The supermodel posed nude and pregnant in German Vogue earlier in the year, something Britney Spears and Demi Moore have done on other magazine covers.

Schiffer caused a bit of a stir at her wedding in England in 2002.  With guests waiting outside the 14th Century St George’s Church for hours, Schiffer didn’t bother to allow them to catch a glimpse of her wedding dress.  Instead the supermodel arrived in a Bentley and entered the church covered in blankets.    And was it a new house or diamonds that enticed Schiffer into her romance with Vaughan?  Not at all.  Instead, Schiffer is said to have fallen for Vaughan after he gave her a tortoise as a gift.

“I am much more self-confident today.” Schiffer said to German reporters, before giving birth.  “Because of my children and my husband.  I know what I am doing, what I want [and] I am in control of myself.”

Vera Farmiga Has Another Baby On the Way

Vera Farmiga attended the Met Costume Gala on Monday night and brought color to the red carpet by wearing a baby blue Sophie Theallet dress with Van Cleef & Arpels earrings and ring. And she might just be seeing more “baby blue” soon as the Oscar-nominated “Up In the Air” actress acknowledged she has a second baby on the way. The actress had a baby, who she named Fynn, just fifteen months ago.

Farmiga is married to former Deadsy rocker husband, Rean Hawkey. The pair have been together for nearly six years, getting married at a wedding “like the Deerhunter”, Farmiga admits.

“I’m past the first trimester, so I’m not feeling sick anymore.” Farmiga told reporters at the Met Gala. Farmiga also revealed the expected due date: January 5th. The family spends their time on a small farm in Upstate New York, where they own a brood of goats. “It’s really sort of a great place where I can be centered and have a great perspective on what it is I want and need. My husband is a carpenter and he’s going to be making the crib.”

Twins For Mark McGrath and Fiancée

The couple may not be married yet, but Mark McGrath and his fiancée, Carin Kingsland, welcomed twins into their family on Thursday morning in Los Angeles.

The couple have been dating for a whopping sixteen years! They finally became engaged this past New Year’s Eve, certainly surprising many who thought the couple might never be shopping for engagement rings. And now, thanks to in-vitro fertilization, the couple were able to have kids.

The Sugar Ray frontman recently told press, “These two kids will be the luckiest kids in the world in terms of their mom, that’s for sure. They’ll get a lot of love.”

McGrath and his fiancée also aren’t sugar-coating their first years parents together. With him hosting Fox’s Don’t Forget the Lyrics and touring with Sugar Ray this summer, the pair should be plenty busy. “Most parents are like, ‘Oh, the wonders of child-rearing’, but we’re freaking out! The first year is going to be gnarly.”

And after sixteen years together, McGrath had a very blunt way of proposing to his girlfriend at Hollywood’s Viper Room. His exact words? “Well, after sixteen years, I know I love you. Will you marry me?”

Another Baby for Matt Damon and His Wife

The kids just keep on coming for the Damon family.  Matt Damon and wife Luciana announced today they have a fourth baby coming along the way.  So far the couple have three daughters: Alexia, 11, who comes from Luciana’s previous marriage, Isabella, 3, and Gia, 20 months.

The loving couple married back in 2005 in a private ceremony in Manhattan.  Damon was 35 at the time and it is his first marriage, whereas it was the second marriage for the Argentine-born Luciana.  The pair met in Miami Beach while Damon was filming the comedy Stuck on You.    The couple seems to prefer privacy, not making too many flashy appearances on the red carpet.    Damon’s Ocean’s Twelve producer, Jerry Weintraub, confirmed the notion.  “She’s not really interested in that stuff.  She’s interested in him.”

To get the engagement ring, Damon visited Bellevue, Washington-based jeweler, Steven Goldfarb, and chose a “classic, elegant” ring among the many engagement rings that Goldfarb had to offer.

Luciana is due with the baby this fall and a rep confirmed that “everybody is really happy” about the news.  Even fellow Ocean’s Twelve pal, George Clooney, piped in, saying that Damon is a “phenomenal” father, and that he “absolutely adores those kids.”

Damon himself seems really in tune with his domestic life.  “I really used to have no life outside movies.  I’d work all day, go to the gym and go to sleep.”  The Bourne Supremacy star said, adding that once Isabella arrived “that was it for me and working out because I wanted to get home to see my daughter before she went to sleep.”

Bullock is Moving On!

Sandra Bullock shocked the public today by featuring herself smiling and holding a baby on the cover of People Magazine. Announcing her new adoption, Bullock had kept her adopted baby a secret for the past three months he’s been with her. Bullock also cleared up where she stands with Jesse James after being photographed this week with her wedding rings off: “Yes, I have filed for divorce”, adding that she was “sad and scared”.

Sandra’s baby news is perhaps the surprise triumph that the public was hoping for with the actress. Appearing on the cover of People this week holding 3 1/2 month old Louis Bardo Bullock, she appeared happy and fulfilled. There’s also no sign that the divorce will be anything but amicable. The actress filed for divorce on April 23 in Austin, Texas, where she has a secluded home.

Bullock also insists that her new son will also have strong ties to New Orleans. “Without the spirit of the people who live there and take care of the city and honor its traditions, its love for music, its love for life, take those people out and you don’t have why I love New Orleans so much.” Bullock had been doing significant good deeds for the city ever since Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005, including becoming a major supporter of the Warren Easton Charter High School and establishing a $10,000 scholarship. The Oscar winner also purchased a home in the beautiful Garden District of the city.
