Bethenny Frankel Getting Married This Week

The wait is over.  “Real Housewives of New York” star, Bethenny Frankel, who always wears the most simple and understated diamond jewelry,  is getting married this week in an intimate affair that will surely be extravagant and private.  The “Housewife” got was spotted shopping for engagement rings earlier this year, but was staying mum about wedding details until the last minute.  Frankel held her bridal shower this Sunday in New York at Bagatelle and was joined by twenty of her closest friends, including only one “Real Housewives” castmate, Alex McCord.

Bethenny FrankelBethenny is also set to be a pregnant bride and is now showing off her baby bump, with the baby expected in June.  She got on her Twitter just this week to post, “I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M HAVING A BABY!  I had a dream it was a girl.  And the wedding countdown is here.  6 days.”  We’ll surely hear about in the press if she’s right on that one!

Frankel will host her wedding at the Four Seasons Restaurant in NYC on Sunday, March 28th.  And it will be a black tie affair, including only her closest family and friends.  Two  of her “Real Housewives” co-stars are expected to attend–McCord and Ramona Singer.  (We can certainly more cat-fights this season, I trust!) “There will be about 70 people, her closest friends, so it’s going to be small and intimate.” Singer says.

Frankel also promises for the wedding to be “a classic New York wedding, very sophisticated, understated…with great food and great dancing.” She also revealed they’ll have cotton candy.

So what can we expect for the wedding rings and gowns?  Classic Neil Lane? Red-carpet favorite Monique Lhuillier?  Wait and see!

Real Housewives Star Ramona Singer Starts Jewelry Collection

New York Real Housewives star Ramona Singer is so busy she may not be able to be considered just a housewife any more. She will be returning for the third season of the hit Bravo TV franchise, Real Housewives of New York, while also planning to launch her second collection of estate jewels.

“This has been a dream come true.” The reality star recently said.  “To create these things and to see how well they come out and [then] get the reaction from people is just so thrilling.”

Singer has been selling her items on the Home Shopping Network, with a planned debut for the second collection on Tuesday, March 2nd.  The reality star-turned-designer says her greatest inspiration for the collection were the oversize earrings and blue rings worn by the late Princess Diana.  Singer admits she was going for a regal and beautiful feel for the collection.  For other classic and regal items, buyers may want to consider the Tacori or Roberto Coin jewelry brands, which are established jewelry designers that provide timeless jewelry pieces.

As for her own collection, Singer highly recommends the $249 black-and-white swirl earrings: “They go with everything because black-and-white are so in!” She says.
