Soccer superstar David Beckham proposed to wife Victoria Beckham in 1998, surprising her with an enormous $65,000 diamond 3-carat solitaire engagement ring.  In return, Victoria bought an extravagant $80,000 diamond ring for her man. Maybe diamond rings are the new box of chocolates?

Write your loved-one a song!  Hot country singer Brad Paisley did just that, inspired by wife, actress Kimberly Williams.  After seeing Kimberly in Father of the Bride, he was inspired enough by her to write segments about her in his hit album, Part II.  He later featured Williams on the sweet country song, “Little Moments”.

Propose to Her On-stage!   Country legend Garth Brooks gave a welcome surprise to longtime girlfriend Trisha Yearwood at a sold-out show in California in 2005.  Yearwood may have been a bit more than anxious as she was seen wiping tears away after Brooks got down on one knee.

In today’s inter-connected world, many celebs just can’t stay off applications like Facebook and Twitter.  Celebrity Twitter power couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher sometimes Tweet suggestive pictures to each other, including one where she wrote on her hands and chest, “Bed time?”
