Rebecca Romijn and her husband Jerry O’Connell decided that 11/11/11 was too much of a special date to pass up! The gorgeous couple decided to really make it a day to remember by renewing their wedding vows.
Jerry O’Connell spoke to People.com and shared their plans and why it was such an important numerical date for them:
“If we happen to look at our phone and it’s 11:11, one of us always texts the other. There’s two of us – Rebecca and I – and the two of our kids. A couple of nights ago, I said to Rebecca, ‘We should renew our vows at 11:11 and 11 seconds on 11/11.’ And she said, ‘We should do it at 11th Street and 11th Ave. ‘ I didn’t think [renewing our vows] was gonna be so emotional, but it was … I think I was more emotional than my wife.”
Romijn even requested that her husband wear a vertical striped shirt so that it looked like it was a bunch of elevens. I gotta say, these two are going to be my new favorite celebrity couple! How cute is all this?
The giant lips is actually a clutch that O’Connell bought for his wife after she been admiring it for a while, the fact that she wanted it so bad, and that it was given on their special day makes it to Romijn a wedding gift!
This next couple also decided to renew their vows on Friday, Jason Lee and his beautiful wife Ceren Alkac. The couple first married in July 2008 in California. The couple have a daughter, Casper, born in August of that same year. The two hotties decided to go ahead and make it official once again because of the spectacular date that only comes around once every 100 years.
Our last couple did not renew their vows, they actually got married for the first time! Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star Kim Zolciak and her NFL fiancee Kroy Biermann got their 11/11/11 wedding on, and she tweeted all day about it. She thanked the company that made her wedding cake, and even shared a photo of her wedding dress, amidst a bunch of tweets saying how grateful and happy she was on her day. The couple have a baby son.
The dress is definitely not the best looking dress I’ve ever seen, but I think that’s mainly cause, well…Zolciak is not known for a having the classiest taste. What makes it worse is that it had so much potential! If it would have just been the grey color… fine, but the designer added that poof of white in the center and it just killed the look.
The bodice is beautiful, so like I said…it had a lot of potential. But I’m not the one who wore the dress, she is! So she’s the one that has to love it. Zolciak is 33…ish (she swears she is 33 but the woman does not look it at all) Hmm, don’t know about that one. What we do know is that her new hubby is 26.
So all these couples really believe in the luck of 11/11/11! They say the luckiest number tied to marriage is 1, then 9, and the worst being 5. Well, we would wish them all the luck in the world, but it looks like they aren’t gonna need it!
