Contest Rules

  1. All entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Contest Open to residents of the United State of America and Canada.
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. In order to qualify for a chance to win you must upload a picture(s) of your ring.  The ring entered into the contest must be your actual engagement ring.  Once the winner is selected, you must send your engagement ring to:

  5. We will remove the diamond from your engagement ring and re-set the diamond in the Tacori engagement ring of your choice valued up to $5,000.
  6. All entries to the contest must be made by August 1st, 2011.
  7. On August 1st, 2011 the contestant with the most facebook “likes” will be selected as the winner of the contest.
  8. Odds of winning based on number of qualified entries received.
  9. A qualified on-line entry is defined as one that is legible and completely filled out.  The entry must be your actual engagement ring.  Once the winner is chosen, we will verify the ring sent to Since1910.com is the actual ring on the site that received the most Facebook Likes.
  10. All entries as a condition of entry agree to indemnify Since1910.com, H.L. Gross & Bro., Tacori, their employees and agents from any and all claims costs of expenses (including attorney’s fees and costs of defense) arising out of or in connection with any portion of the prizes being offered.  The winner must accept the prizes “as is” and without recourse to any party listed here.
  11. Contest prize are not transferable.  Prize may not be exchanged for cash or substitute prizes.  No transfer or substitution of prizes will be permitted.
  12. Only one entry per person will be allowed.
  13. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner will be required to sign an IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent.
  14. The grand prize of a Tacori engagement ring setting is valued up to $5,000.
  15. Employees and immediate families of Since1910.com, H.L. Gross & Bro., Tacori, other sponsors shall be ineligible to participate in this contest.
  16. By participating in the Since1910.com Ugliest engagement ring contest, winners and contestants grant permission to Since1910.com to use their name, photographs, voice and or likeness for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional consideration.
  17. Since1910.com reserves the right to make rule or contest changes without notice at any time.  Since1910.com also reserves the right to change the aforementioned contest dates or cancel the contest without notice.
  18. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value.
  19. The decision of the Since1910.com management in the interpretation of these rules is final.  By participating, persons agree to be bound by the decision of the judges and the official rules.
  20. If a winner is found in violation of these rules, he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize.
  21. Since1910.com is not responsible for any inconsistencies or malfunctions of the Facebook "Like" button.
