A Good cut earth mined diamond certified by the GIA to be J in color and VVS1 in clarity.
This diamond has very very small inclusions which are even difficult to find under 30x magnification. This diamond is very rare and therefore commands a higher price than diamonds in the VVS2 or VS category. The largest price difference between all clarity grades of diamonds occurs from IF to VVSI. Since1910 suggests those in the market for the very best choose this grade over an IF as there is a substantial savings in price.
This diamond is near colorless. It does possess a slight tint of color. Being that J color is the lowest grade in the near colorless range, it represents the greatest value. It allows you to purchase a larger stone for the same price. If this diamond has medium to strong blue fluorescence, the slight tint of color will be masked and the stone will appear almost colorless.
