The same jeweler took him in as an apprentice not long after that and, by the time he was 18 years of age, he had already learned all the aspects of jewelry making — from shaping and finishing precious metals to cutting and setting diamonds, the most luxurious of stones.

Vatche further honed his design skills while working for a world-renowned jewelry manufacturer for another two years. He founded his own company, Eclipse Jewelry Corporation, in 1988 so he could realize his own vision and philosophy on the art of jewelry making. He has since been among the most admired jewelers of our time. Vatche's passion is to create jewelry with the kind of elegance and quality that can be passed on from generation to generation.

Precious Metal Options

Platinum is Vatche's metal of choice, but Vatche engagement ring designs can also be made in white and yellow gold. All Vatche rings are made to order, so couples can be sure the ring they select is made just for them. Most Vatche settings have a brilliant finish and typically has four to six prongs for the center stone. Smaller diamonds on the band are either done in pave or channel setting. Vatche also has classic solitaire and "baguette illusion" designs. Royal X and crown mounting styles are likewise available.

Diamonds

Vatche uses G-H color diamonds with VS-2 clarity. Clients can request for their preferred color combinations at an additional price. Vatche settings accommodate a variety of diamond shapes, from round and square cut to oval, marquise and pear-shaped center stones.
